Seddon Construction Ltd is calling on SMEs with particular skills and expertise to support them on a variety of projects taking place at Sellafield and the wider Cumbria region.
Seddon was awarded the Programme and Project Partners’ (PPP) KDP9 Building fit-out framework back in July. The package of work – worth £175 million over the next 17 years – covers a wide range of general construction activities ranging from internal walls, ceilings, screeding, flooring, painting and joinery.
The Swimming with the Big Fish SME Matchmaker Service – which is being delivered by Solomons Europe for PPP – is supporting Seddon on identifying SME supply chain partners to support its work on PPP, with the aim of building relationships that could lead to other opportunities in Cumbria and further afield.
Seddon will be holding a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event at Lakes College, Lilyhall, Workington on Tuesday, November 22 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
The company is interested in speaking to SMEs who can provide the skills and expertise to support its pipeline of work.
