The success of Solomons is down to the talented, passionate and curious people who drive the business forward. The industry-leading and boundary-pushing service they provide to our clients sets us apart from the rest.

So, it was only natural that we wanted to celebrate their achievements in 2022 through the inaugural Solomons Europe Annual Staff Awards.

There were six categories up for grabs, with Solomons team members putting forward nominations for each. Company founders Dominic and Kerry Doig decided the eventual winners.

Rising Star – Lucy Farrer
Shining a bright light on someone below Director level who has clearly and visibly demonstrated how they’re thriving working for clients and as part of the Solomons team.

Cultural Ambassador – Dawn Powell
An award for someone who lives and breathes the Solomons culture – its philosophy and values – and further enhances it through their work both internally and externally.

Mentor of the Year – Rob Branwood
The winner will be someone who’s knowledge and support of others has had a positive impact on the development of one or more colleagues.

Secret Super Hero – Dawn Bowker
Someone who provides subtle ‘behind the scenes’ support, they strive to make everyone’s life that little bit easier, pre-empting problems and mopping up all the loose ends – but never shouting about what they do!

High Performing Team of the Year – APS Team
A dream team that knows what they’re aiming for, and they have each other’s backs. They double down when a member of the gang needs a hand and consistently hit the mark for their clients and stakeholders.

Special Recognition Award – James Peacock
Put simply, this person is great at everything! Whether that’s embodying our culture, showing entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial flair, sharing their knowledge to aid others, they’ve really stood out in the past 12 months for their actions and achievements.

Speaking after the awards were announced, Kerry said: “A hearty congratulations goes out to all the winners. And not to forget everyone who received a nomination.

“I've said it before and I'll say it again, we have a lovely bunch of people here at Solomons, who are always ready to step up to support their fellow team members and are the embodiment of #payitforward in practice.

“Judging the awards was a real pleasure and we’re proud to have all of you in the team.”
