The busiest Swimming with the Big Fish SME Matchmaker Service Quarterly Connect gathering so far drew people from far and wide for a day-long session of networking, progress updates and presentations.
More than 50 representatives from Matchmaker SMEs, Key Delivery Partners (KDPs) and Programme and Project Partners (PPP) travelled to Solomons Europe’s Papcastle Depot offices for a new-look format meeting that proved to be a hit.
Outlining progress on Matchmaker 2.0 (the conversion of Heads of Terms into long-term SME framework agreements) and revealing the activities proposed as part of Matchmaker 3.0, it was a packed agenda for the packed room. There were also updates from PPP and presentations focused on social value, including an appeal for Matchmaker SMEs to support Growing Well - a mental health charity and organic farming enterprise - and its expansion into West Cumbria.
