Multi-disciplinary highways maintenance provider Carnell has been a long-standing strategic client for Solomons Europe.

We have a number of quantity surveyors and commercial experts supporting the company across a variety of projects throughout the UK.

Our work focuses primarily on commercial management and contractual administration, working closely with Carnell’s in-house commercial and operational teams.

The company – which has offices in Staffordshire, Leyland and Wakefield and is part of the Renew group – is supporting scores of high-profile highways projects for the ultimate client Highways England and other clients which include Keir, Mouchel and Costain.

These include the £24 million Chowns Mill roundabout, which will improve links between the A45 and A6 in Northamptonshire and is due to be completed in late 2021, early 2022.

And closer to home, it completed the A585 Norcross Roundabout improvement scheme for Highways England in the summer of 2020 as the project’s principal contractor.
