The Infrastructure Service Alliance (ISA) is an integrated team made up of Sellafield Limited and Joint Venture, MSA (Morgan Sindall and Arup) established to deliver a programme of infrastructure projects required to support the operation of the Sellafield site.
It is responsible for masterplanning, programme management, studies, design and project delivery and closeout for all infrastructure assets across the West Cumbria site. The projects are primarily focused on utilities but cover a huge range from new plants and modular builds, bridges and carparks, replacement substations and electrical assets, pipework, cables, monitors security and communications systems.
We have supported the alliance on behalf of with various pre and post contract support since it was launched in 2013.
Our work has included NEC3® training, the development of contract document suites and associated training packs, pre-construction tender processes and documents, project contract administration and commercial management and main and sub contract formulation.
We have also been heavily involved in the development of category management subcontract frameworks and instrumental in various improvement initiatives, namely supply chain management, contract administration, project managers duties and cultural Improvements, bringing energy and innovation to help deliver the hugely important £1.1 billion framework.
We work in close partnership with MSAs Commercial Management Team providing a value added service.
This includes supporting Morgan Sindall’s affiliated social enterprise, All Together Cumbria – a recruitment brokerage supporting businesses in Cumbria to connect with local skilled people.
