Solomons Project Quantity Surveyor Celestina Mahovic’s passion for sustainable fashion and unique clothing creations has been making waves in the latest edition of in-Cumbria business magazine.
In its regular ‘My Secret Life’ column, the magazine chats to a someone in business about their pastime or hobby that’s a bit different to the norm.
And, as you will read, Celestina’s own visually striking creations and work on the Clothes Swap Cumbria project also has a big sustainability agenda. The statistics around the environmental impact of “fast fashion” certainly are shocking, but rarely highlighted.
All of Celestina’s work on this is even more impressive given she’s not only juggling it with a busy day job supporting a Solomons client at the Sellafield site in West Cumbria. She’s also completing a master’s degree in Quantity Surveying!
