Chemical company Inovyn has been undertaking a major regeneration project at its site in Runcorn.
The Chesire site is of national importance, producing chlorine, caustic soda and chlorinated derivatives for a wide variety of applications in industry sectors ranging from water and construction to electronics and pharmaceuticals.
It also produces sulphur chemicals and salt for a range of industrial customers.
Members of the Solomons Europe team have been working alongside the company to provide commercial and procurement support for the several NEC® framework and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) contracts that have been deployed for the complex work.
The site not only hosts Inovyn – part of the Ineos Group – but also a number of other chemical manufacturers.
More recently, we have been providing dedicated support to Inovyn’s project team on creating four new drill points on Inovyn-owned land to create new drilling compounds at Holford Brinefield.
